The LSGF is a unique event allowing people to learn strategy games and to play against others. We celebrate the rise of strategy games played on a tabletop. If you are curious about strategy games, then come along and learn from experts and play with like-minded participants.

The event is open to all, from beginner to expert.  All you need is an interest in games and a willingness to learn. Whether you are already a regular player, a parent or homeschooler looking for suitable games, a teacher exploring classroom games, a retiree looking for a new hobby, or an events organiser looking for activities, there is something for you.

The event will be spread across four rooms, each offering a different strategy game at different time slots. The day is divided into three main time slots of two hours each, running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and a final 3-hours session from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Participants are free to move between rooms at their own pace and explore different games throughout the day. Each room will host guided game sessions, with game introductions and rules explanations provided. If you move between rooms, you may need to wait for the next session to begin before joining a new game. Staff will be available to assist you and help you find a session that suits your interests.
